It's been out since 2020 but I started the Innocence Files last night and watched the first 3 episodes. It's a true documentary based on the work of the Innocence Project to free wrongly convicted persons.
I'm very much in support of law and order and for the rights of victims which seemingly is less of a concern of some progressive DA's these days.
However, it was very disturbing to view these stories of people who spent decades in prison based on faulty forensic science and tunnel vision of prosecutors and law enforcement.
One of these individuals was actually on death row for a crime it was later conclusively proven he didn't commit and the guilty individual was actually identified later and confessed.
Watching this documentary makes one question the death penalty. While justice should be given victims of crime, I can't imagine a greater injustice than imprisoning and giving the death penalty to an innocent person.
If you haven't seen this, I would definitely recommend it. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 100% rating too.

Seinfeld.
It's kind of a show about nothing. It mainly just follows the personal lives of four friends living in New York in the 90s. Pretty good so far if you like comedies.

It's one of the main reasons I oppose the death penalty.***

I'm against government having the power to kill people in the name of justice.

It's about a bomber in Las Vegas, and is an action/comedy kind of thing. It's absolutely ridiculous, terrible acting, terrible plot, and goofy af and I can't stop watching it. It's so bad its good.

Agreed. Overzealous DAs and detectives who refuse to admit they're wrong are just as bad as crooked lawyers who try to get killers back on the street. I'd be in favor of the death penalty if someone could 100 percent make it perfect. As long as there are cases like this, it's not effective or justifiable.
I started watching Class of 2009 with my wife. It's an FBI show with Kate Mara (yes) that explores an FBI class in the past, present, and the not too distant future while addressing themes of how far our law enforcement should be able to go when monitoring citizens for safety. Well done so far. I think it's Hulu?

Blue Bloods got NOTHING on Andy Griffith. In Mayberry, the criminals walk in and lock themselves up.

Had a friend in HS/College who went to a law office in San Francisco. She got into the Death Penalty Review side of Law, which she called the grimmest task she ever had in her life.
Her job was to meticulously go through everything related to the sentence and appeal and make sure all the State T's were crossed and I's were dotted. Apparently there is a mountain of paperwork before they pull out the needle.
She went to see a few of her clients get injected at San Quentin. Ended up being completely jaded by the whole system and quit. Her summary of American justice was, "If you're poor, you're screwed."
