Never thought I would say it, but Galloway was the smartest on the panel tonight

He made the very valid point that if resume put Wash ahead of FSU tonight, then why didn't resume put Washington ahead of Michigan also? Even if they want to use the so-called "eye-test", Michigan has done nothing to impress anyone the past two weeks!!

And if you're talking eye test, Clemson should be top 15

Wish I could agree w you, but I just don't see us as having passed much of an eye test this season.

interesting, we out gained the #5 team in the country by over 100 yards. One play cost us that game.

We have been entirely incosistent

And when that bites us in a game where we "outplayed" the other team for the majority of the game that matters. It matters just the same as it did during our run through the ACC over the past 7 years when we'd win games where it was opponents mistakes (forced or unforced) that allowed us to win it.
Saturday was a perfect example of how we were winning some tough games in the recent past. Play tough, limit mistakes, and often doing those things allows the bounces to go your way.
We'll get back there, but this year? Nah, we're ranked about what is right.

You missed my point. We looked good vs FSU - the #5 team in the country. That’s all i was talking about. Wasn’t making any comment about where we should be ranked or any other game.

I thought you were referencing the eye test in context of us deserving to be ranked higher

Can we all agree using an eye test as an objective measure is silly.

Who’s eyes, for starters?

You make a good point about our “eye test” against FSU. There are just two problems though. Our eye test against Wolfies and canes. Results matter. I’m thrilled they put us at 24. Maybe we can move up a couple of spots with an impressive win on the road against the coots.

Sounds like you mean subjective opinions.

I think that’s more of him being an Ohio State guy. His takes change rapidly to support his team

Several years ago, we did away with the BCS (computer generated model) to put the humanity back in the selection process. Now that we have people choosing the teams, we want to put the logic back in the process.
