In addition to strength of schedule, player injuries throughout the season will be given a weighted score. If you win with an injured player being out of game, points will be deducted from your eye test score, and you may even be prohibited from playing anymore games during the season.

any SEC or Big 10 lost players will have points ADDED as pertains to the eye test via the 'quality depth of the team' clause.

Yep....it's funny how the committee has 3 or 4 bullet points that are the main tangible measurements they are supposed to use as criteria for selecting the playoff members but they made sure to add an asterisk under it with a bunch of purposely ambiguous invisible metrics that makes it easier for them to just select who they want without owing a true explanation
