Gone are the days of the 5'10" or 5'11" thumpers like the Bull (Ben Boulware), BJ, and Kendall. Love those guys but I also like the idea of having that kind of length clogging passing lanes.

The Tigers can use another LB/Edge. Sammy Brown is a beast but IMO seeing these players getting the "tight rope" surgery, it takes longer for full recovery than advertised.

Brown and this kid make me feel a lot better about beyond that though. Dee looks like he's going to end up being a pretty darn good player too IMO.
Edge on the other hand, next year concerns me a little. I like the guys coming in but freshman are all going to perform like TJ even if they are talented and will eventually become excellent players.

That would be disappointing. This kid’s biggest offer is Marshall and holds no P5 offers. Doesn’t mean he can’t play, but already feels like we reached on Drew Woodaz. Would’ve liked to nab another high rated guy to go along with Sammy. Anyway, nothing is done yet. If this guys gets an offer or not, so be it.

I think it does.
Most thought we reached on Wade too and he looks like he's turned out pretty well. Time will tell on all of them I guess.

Trust our Coaches in their selection of players. Their % of obtaining very good players is remarkable. This kid will be a great player if he has time to develop. Issue will be if we can retain him in this NIL phase.

Not really impressed watching the film. Doesn't seem quick enough to play in space in today's era of football. He's just not fast enough to play sideline to sideline, IMO.
He seems to love contact, so maybe moving him to an edge rusher position would be better for him and the defense in the long run. He has the size and athleticism for that position. He's a project for sure.
