Next Head Coach

Would it be okay to just cut to the chase? We all know how things ended with Leggett and Lee. We thank both of them for their service to Clemson University and the Clemson Baseball Program. It is time for fresh blood to enter in the dugout at Doug Kingsmore. It is time for all of us to accept we must move on from both coaches. Clemson does not need Leggett's distractions anymore. We need somebody who can come here and succeed without Leggett breathing down their neck like he did to Monte. This is the Clemson Baseball Program and Jack Leggett and Monte Lee do not own this program. The next head coach deserves the chance to lead and for us to support him and not be so stuck on Leggett and Lee.

I agree but I also think that Coach Lee will land somewhere else and we'll see or hear about him every now and then. I feel like his departure is a clean break. Jack felt like he was blindsided and maybe he was but he needs to let it go and move on. He's the only former coach I've ever heard of that will throw shade at his former school to anyone that will listen and then have the balls to show up at games and sit near the dugout. That's just tacky and weird IMO.

Maybe Neff will have him honored at a game or name something after him so the healing can take place and everyone can move on. I honestly don't see Lee acting like Jack has been since his dismissal.

I agree. A clean break is needed. I look for Monte to end up in Cootville. They will hire him just to throw mud in our face.
