Nicknames in sports.

Sorry, I watch very little NBA basketball. (Sorry, I know this is the rong bored.)

But, the best nickname in sports that is not a nickname but should be (are you confused yet?) should belong to Klay Thompson.

The Bass Angler.

Why? He practices catch and release.

Disclaimer: I heard that several years ago when I did watch a little more NBA than I do now. I'm not creative enough to think of it.

Dislcaimer 2: I just got back from vacation yesterday. Nothing worth watching on TV. I'm bored. Turned it over to the game. Saw Thompson hit a catch and release and my memory was jogged.
