They gave me the online offer price, which really wasn't too much below the lowest price in KBB' Sale to Private Party range. Asked about the radio having no sound, but didn't change the offer. A relief to not have to sell it myself w/ the radio situation. They had a Tacoma TRD Sport similar to the one I just bought, 4 yrs older and less options, a few more miles, for same price I just paid. Their prices generally looked high, esp with no negotiating available.

about as quick and painless as possible. That has been my experience with CarMax as well.

my last car deal, Carmax gave me $3000 more than anyone would give in trade, even after i showed them the printed offer from Carmax

one dealer knocked a few hundred off the asking price of the vehicle i wanted to buy, but would not alter the trade allowance
