I know that there is no fan that loved his commitment to our Tigers more than I did, and none loved watching him play when he was healthy anymore than I did. A Healthy XT is the type of player that can help a team to win championships, and I'm very happy he was a Tiger, and I'm also very happy he didn't quit as a lot of players would have in the very same situation that he pulled himself through by getting up and he kept coming back when the easiest thing for him to do would have been quit. If all the players that has went through Clemson the same time when XT came in, we would have been in the NCG and the Gator Bowl. It's Tiger nation that owes you our thanks XT, and I do Thank You for being a Tiger and wearing the Paw!!! Best of luck onto your next adventure hopefully in the NFL, and never forget that Clemson is a forever home for Tigers like you!!!!

Call it a man crush, a cult believer or whatever, but when I see guys work like he has and persevere against crazy odds and setbacks, it inspires the heck out of me! If I had the power I would make dadgum sure he has nothing but great opportunities in life going forward. He has paid dearly for it already!

I can't tell you how proud of the example you have set young man. I am watching the sport you play in and I have loved for decades crumble around me in terms of any loyalty and commitment (all parties guilty, from power brokers of sport on down) and you never quit in spite of bad breaks; never took the easy way out. I think that's truly commendable!
