Grisham has been good at his recruiting role. Is there any doubt about this?

His coaching hasn’t been bad, either. Look at how much B.Collins had improved from his butter fingered ways + terrible blocking in his first two years to his performance in 2023, when his pass catching (very much so) + blocking (somewhat) had gotten better. With regard to T.Stellato, given his serious injuries during his first two years at Clemson, Grisham surely has had a role in both keeping Stellato motivated to work hard and grind through his rehab + drills that he could perform while injured; we now have a true weapon in T.Stellato.

I don’t have any idea about Grisham’s influence in getting us to offer fall-back options of A.Williams (for 2022 class) and T.Brown & M.Kelly (for 2023 class), but at worst I doubt Grisham pitched a fit to keep these guys away but Dabo overruled him and ordered that we offered each of them.

Thus, Grisham apparently is highly regarded enough by Dabo, possibly G.Riley, and the WR corps to be valued in his WR coach job.

Grisham can at least recruit and deserves a chance to coach his own recruits, not the recruiting misses Jeff Scott left him with.

Austin whiffed on every recruit he went after AND was a bad coach. That gets you canned.
