First it still blows my mind how many people think the noon time slot is for the crappy games. Other than the 7:30-8:00 pm ABC game, the noon slot is the higher profile games, not the 3:30, 4:00 ACCN/ SECN or others.
Big Ten teams play big games all the time at NOON, which depending on where they are playing can be 11:00 a.m. central time. Ohio State/Michigan is almost always at noon. There are several SEC Noon (actually 11:00 central) games in SEC. LSU/Tenn was an 11:00 a.m. CT game.
I cant imagine the whining if we had to actually play at 11:00 a.m. like schools often do. (See OKlahoma/Texas)
This year a noon game with SC helps us start prep earlier for ACC Championship, as UNC will already have some extra prep time as they play on Friday after Thanksgiving.
I know I'm in the minority, but love the noon games. A whole lot of great football has been played in the valley beginning at noon. I guess most of the complainers weren't born yet when we didn't even have lights. As Dabo said, get up, tape your ankles, eat you a biscuit and get to the valley. Go Tigers!
Yes! Totally agree…not sure why there is an infatuation…

With night games. We got to have a couple of night games earlier this year. Including a great showcase on ABC for Death Valley, etc. Have had multiple 3:30 games. It’s getting cold. Take the nooner. Plenty of good games have been in that time slot this year. Get it done…rest up…get ready for ACC championship while SCAR gets ready for the Birmingham Bowl.
