True, but if he gets a 3rd round grade or a late 2nd... got to take the money. Versatility is his strength. Speed may hold him down and that's not changing next year. Saying, not sure with his measurable if another year would help him much if at all. Then if he gets hurt next season, he'll possibly get a lower grade.

The only thing I would see he'd gain by coming back is to correct his blocking skills. He graded worse than mafah in blocking all year.

I am a big a fan. He is a quality player. I think we just have to use him better and more to his strengths. Up the middle on short yardage isn't his strength.

Me too and I’m buying what you’re selling. It baffles me that so many fans cannot see how he and Mafah complement each other. It doesn’t need to be an either or deal. Use them both to their strengths. Shipley has explosiveness Mafah doesn’t have. Mafah has power and vision. We need them both.

he’s got to be encouraged by the new OL coach.

Maybe that factors into his decision to stay.

Would love to see it, and see he and Mafah both have 1,000-yard season.
