that saw he could make a nice living catering to the inner fear/paranoia of a small niche audience who have grown ever more distrusting of our Government. At this point I don't know that Jones even believes half the stuff that comes out of his loud mouth. His goal is to simply cater and grow the paranoia as much as he can to keep what little audience he has on a string.
One would think Jones' take on Sandy Hook would have been his "jump the shark" moment and tanked him for good but apparently not...
It is a fact that the US Government lies - it has in the past, does so today, and will do so in the future. The first rule of a behemoth bureaucracy is to "Protect the Bureaucracy" and that includes lying and cover-up if necessary.
But Alex Jones has ZERO credibility in exposing those lies and cover-ups. Unfortunately, neither does most of the MSM, whose adoption of advocacy journalism has seen them become ideologically invested, bullhorned partners in the DC bureaucratic ecosystem instead of adversarial arbiters of absolute truth working independently to keep our Government in check.
