The Tigers already had a fan for life, but actually seeing the game and stadium in person put orange and purple stripes down my back that haven't come off to this day!!

The UNC game in 1964 was my first game at Death Valley. It was the high school weekend when prospective Clemson freshman were given a mini tour of the campus. We all sat in the bleachers in the west end zone. Yes bleachers kinda like a high school stadium.
I do not think that we prevailed in the game, but I am still a fan for life.
