Jacksonville would be closer to home-home and the Panthers have ZERO loyalty.

The Panthers never take any Clemson players

which is pretty bad as they are 1.5 hr's away not to mention they used Clemson's stadium as their home field in the beginning of the franchise.

And, also not to mention their owner was a Clemson guy. I believe I'm right on that.

My mistake. His son went to Clemson, though, and the son, Mark, is member of the Clemson Board of Trustees. I thought Jerry had gone to Clemson, too.

Concerning his mothers death and funeral which was disregarded by the entire panthers organization outside of one teammate and just the way he was released and then of course we all know about the Steve Smith saga and how he was kicked to the curb because they felt he was too old and no one would even really talk to him about it before or after. Both of those guys have done more than anyone for the Panthers and charlotte in general than anyone on that roster and they were just thrown away. I understand it's business and I also understand that Steve Smith had issues getting along with people from time to time but one would think they would do more for players that have been there as long and done as much for the panthers as they have. If you want more info on the funeral incident you will have you look it up, it's long and complicated. I wouldn't expect everyone associated with the panthers to drop what they're doing for her funeral but I would certainly expect a lot more than what happened.

I hope the hell not since the Panthers will be sold in the 15 to 18 months and moved to the west coast.

LOL...says who?
The Panthers have pretty good attendance by league standards and Charlotte is a growing and thriving economy.
Not sure where this uneducated crapola is coming from. I've heard the St. Louis Rams might be moving, but that's it.

All he ever did was embrace the city, team and fans and do whatever was asked.
Barely appreciated, never fully utilized in what was always Jackson's offense. May CJ land somewhere that his skillset fulfills his huge potential.
Sammy Watkins take note.

I am sure CJ will land with a good team. I always have and still believe CJ would be a better receiver than he is running back.

Spiller's Good Fortune
Mar 3, 2015, 10:44 PM

He's handled his time in Buffalo with class as he's fought injuries, and now it's time to move on. Wish him the best team and situation ... lots of life left in CJ's legs. 2015 could be a break-out year with the right team. Good luck CJ and keep it classy!

God works in mysterious ways. The Bills did you a favor.... or ....its going to be a blessing in disguise. Just watch and see.
I hope the blessing leads you straight to the Chargers. For what it's looking like....the Eagles need a running back... the Panthers need a running back... the Ravens...the Dolphins... the Buccaneers ....all of them need a man with your talents. It will happen for you CJ.

alonso for mccoy?? were they just trying to clear cap space or something? how did they freaking pull that off? Would have been nice to see the panthers get in on this one. seems like they were giving away a top 3 durable RB for above average defensive talent. I understand Alonso puts up good numbers but is he as valuable as mccoy? No. Lesean mccoy is up their with leveon bell, demarco murray, beast mode, etc. etc. dang man..panthers where you at?

You were on track with your first dozen words or so... A cap hit like $11M of McCoy in a system like Chip's makes no sense. Chip wants Kiko more than anyone he recruited at Oregon and now he got him for a RB he didn't really think fit his system. I wouldn't be surprised if Spiller ended up there if he settled for a contender at a cheaper rate, but Philly will likely take one of the 8-10 solid pro RB prospects throughout the draft.
Kiko will make another Duck in the system which makes a lot of sense, and he's creating a more innovative New England type system at this point becuase he can still keep picking up the kids he recruited and attempted to recruit back at Oregon.
This could be a move that works for both sides as Rex Ryan didn't know what he had with Kiko and Chip clearly doesn't care to have an overrated back like LM for that number.

Overrated??? How so? He has done nothing, but produce since he has been in Philadelphia. I just do not understand your logic behind stating he is overrated.

The Bills were never the right fit for C.J. and neither for Sammy now. Ever watch a Bills game? Notice how Sammy gets about 5 targets a game and the remainder used as a decoy? Bills are losers and will remain that way. Good luck C.J. With a better team!!!

would've had more had he not played a few games hurt. 128 targets, Nuk 127 targets, Calvin Johnson 128 targets.

big things at Dallas or Seattle. A perfect complement to their big power runners in play action pass offenses. And they could use him effectively as a slot receiver. Peyton Manning & Brady would love him too. And of course San Diego.

folks help me with my "Save Sammy" campaign as seen in "Ferris Beuller's Day Off."
What a CLASSLESS way to let CJ know he's no longer employed w/ the Bills. Watch NFL total access at 7 if u missed it.
