As good as Welch Dean Treadwell and Gardocki? Dabo seems to deliver the message that way but theirs been a few “chippies “ missed lately.

Treadwell, and it has been a long time, and when you are young your understanding of greatness is different but I just remember him making some long clutch kicks and those memories will never leave me as him being one of the best. Stats may prove otherwise but I’m going off my memories which are getting worse unfortunately over time.

The "chippie" he missed last night, I think, was because the snap was a little high and it threw the timing off just enough for him to miss it. We have had a lot of great kickers. Don't forget Catman!

Think Potter is getting to comfortable/complacent? He’s been money there for a while. We left at least 10 more points on the field with the dropped touchdown and missed field goal.

vote would go to CATMAN. He made what I consider to be one of THE MOST PIVOTAL field goals in Clemson football history in 2012. I truly believe that was a galvanizing point in our history, and we may have gone off the rails if he misses that thing. Or, at the very least, it would have set Dabo back another three or four years trying to really get things off the ground on the national stage.

Didn't get to see some of the legends like Iggy and Gardocki but from my time of keeping up with Clemson football full time (2006 - pres), Catman would be my #1.

I was watching a classic Tiger game last week when this item was placed on the screen, "Gardocki is the only kicker in NCAA history to rank in the top ten punting and place kicking two years in a row".
I was watching a different game when the commentator said Gardocki was one of two kickers to rank in the top five in punting and placekicking categories in th same season.
I'm not a fact checker, just a fan.

Potter is right in there. Heck, 4 of those guys were walk ons when they started out! Obed began the legacy. Alot of NFL kickers in that line
