Off-season Changes?

While acknowledging that none of us are the HC so it won’t matter in the long run, it’s still worth discussing: what changes would you like to see Dabo make in the off-season?

Personally, I’d love to see:
1. Streeter let go & we hire a proven QB coach who can solely focus on recruiting & developing QBs, while assisting with the passing game.
2. Grisham let go & we rehire Jeff Scott. I think by now it’s evident that hiring Grisham was a mistake, evidenced by how poorly our WR room is viewed.
3. Mickey Conn let go & replaced by a safeties coach who can put our guys in position to be successful. Mike Reed’s solid, but our safety play under Conn has been average at best.

Hopefully 2023 is a better season than the last 2 have been, especially on offense. Go Tigers!

Dabo won’t make any coordinator changes.

He probably won’t make any changes at all.

He will tell us that these are great coaches and even better people and he believes in them.

I would say offensive coordinator, O line coach . But I don’t believe Dabo will fire his buddies. Remember when Dabo was made Interim head coach? When people said that even if he didn’t get head coach, he would stay on staff because he had no ego? Well that’s not the Dabo we have. I love Dabo. He’s our greatest coach. But the accomplishments are gathering dust.

I am all for getting rid of Grisham, but do you really think we can get him back as the WR coach, while letting Streeter go? You are going to have to pick one or the other.

I am not happy with either coordinator, but I do think that both have looked better towards the end of the year. They would be on my hotseat, but I would have to give them a chance to make changes themselves.

I guess the one change that I would like to see is a contributing player from the transfer portal.
