Going into our 3rd year without a great offense.

Hoping we will turn the corner after our open date. Chase Brice could have beaten Georgia in our last opener with them but we put all our chips on DJ. He scored the only TD that day but for the other team. He was so scared that day he was going to get hit. Going with DJ and not having a field goal kicker this year caused us losses in two high profile games.

Coaching mistakes and poor evaluation of talent over that period did not help either.

DJ is gone so your post is moot.

We are living with those coaching mistakes and poor evaluations going into our 3rd year. Why is that a moot point? You don’t want to face the truth.

If we had a GOOD offense this year

we would likely be undefeated. We don’t need a great one. We have a very good defense to compliment the offense and both would largely overcome subpar “special” teams we’ve lacked for years.

Coaches went to sleep at the wheel. Hopefully they have awakened now. Sometimes there is only a hair between winning and losing. I do not like Kirby Smart but he is making great decisions. He has a young QB doing very well and already has his future QB playing QB for Buford HS that moved from California. You think
Kirby going to not have a field goal kicker? I love Dabo and have no respect for Kirby but I willing to face the truth of what has happened. Hopefully we can work out of these mistakes.

Re: We All Saw What We Was Getting At South Bend ---

The DJU coming in for a COVID infected Trevor Lawrence was looking like a young surgeon throwing the football for his early opportunity on a big stage. I was pleased and impressed with what I saw from him. With what we all witnessed that night in South Bend...I was excited what we was going to put on that field against Georgia that following year.

That following year finally came and I thought what I saw early on against Georgia was just nervousness. It just however lasted the entire game and figured he just couldn't get a groove going like he had the year prior against Notre Dame. Then in other games I just saw a DJU that was just unrecognizable and wondered .....what did they do with him in the summer? Why.......why is he on the field....if he is not okay.... because he just didn't look okay.
