Calm down - neither would play a lot anyway

Until their blocking improves significantly, Morris would not use them all that much. An poor/average blocking TE is just a slow WR so you would likely see more four (true) WR or two RB sets regardless.

We don't need more wide receivers. We need help slowing

the rush/blitz for the passing game. Where are you reading that Leggett is a poor blocker? He has been praised all spring and is definitely a better blocker than most WR/RBs.

He's not ready for a DE or quality LB. He is CLEARLY not an accomplished blocker; Morris has all but said it many times.
He is going to be a great TE but he is barely out of HS; give him some time to gain functional strength.
The point of my post was to underscore the fact that Cooper fulfilled the blocking TE role; neither of the two remaining do. Morris knew he had to scheme around it and I am 1000% confident he will. Leggett's situation, which is hopefully nothing more than a tweaked knee, is not a show-stopper.

This could be bad, really bad

if Leggett is out then we have 3 TE's on the roster. Smith, Seck, and JJ with little experience catching the ball. Morris use of the TE plays a huge role in his offense. Hope it's not too serious. Was looking forward to watching Leggett catching TD's from Boyd this year.

Morris barely used the TE at all before coming to Clemson.

At 300lbs, throw it to him at the LOS and let him just fall forward for a few yards.

I watched a little bit of practice today and I watched the play in which Leggett was hurt. He caught a ball over the middle and took a hard hit below the waist. I don't know who actually tackled him. These things happen though when guys are trying to solidify their jobs. When Leggett left the field he was putting very little weight on his injured leg. Didn't look good at all.

Not good at all. Was hoping for a good year for him. Has all the great attributes. Speed, height, and hands. Needed to work on his blocking though. Lets hope Seckinger can step up.

Seckinger did just fine last year, really well actually & should've grown & improved! We all wanna see the frosh play because he is good & full of talent & fits the TE bill, but he'll be ok & hopefully its not serious. He can miss minimal time & come back to contribute. Cooper's back in Oct.1st says Dabo too. We should be fine with all the players we can utilize all over the offensive side...not like there isn't enough talent to spread it around to.

The staff have been talking up Seckinger for a while now, hopefully he'll live up to their expectations and Leggett won't be a debilitating loss. Disappointed for him though, hope he'll be okay.
