could get out easy after the game and get home and see the Coots play...Anyway, get out in my Blind Ref uni with my stick and start the trek down 123 with Mrs. Spud. She was not happy when I turn right at the Red Light on College Ave and tap tap tapped my way out in traffic....Yelling at me as loud as she could to stop that foolishment...Let me just say though(ANd I have always taken pride in the fact that CLEMSON FAN is more knowledgeablt than most or all other college football fans) the Heels actually got my joke more than the Clemson fans did. Several different groups of Heels fans said they were glad to see me back THIS WEEK...etc.etc.

Now..to the game. On the first play...Tyler stopped running just before Cade launched it...if not...well...it would have been great! Second, I told the guy I was with about the end of the 1st quarter that the D reminded me of what it did under Venables a few times...Get burned and then settle in...Well, WES did just that ...The Heels had us about 200 yards to 50 at the end of the first quarter...We almost pulled even by halftime....Third, A MONTH AGO THIS WAS A LOSS. A BIG LOSS! This team has gotten tough mentally...It was a joy to watch!!! Nate going all out ( as compared to a couple of DB's we had back in 2015),Ship coming back strong, Mafah on the wildcat breaking a tackle and giving us a huge boost,Swanson!, and Hamp Green...every punt return is solid...He catches it as easily as I grab the mail of ouf my mailbox...

ANd finally, at our tailgate down by Jervey yesterday and gentleman came up and said,"Hey Spud, can you pose for a picture with my son....he went Trick or Treating this year as a Bling Ref"...Boys..you just never know how you can influence the next generation! LOL!!!!
