Ok. Im going to start my soccer henpecking early this week.

I was talking to some of our women’s soccer players after the game Sunday. They are pretty bummed about the timing of, arguably, the most important women’s soccer match in Clemson history. Thanksgiving weekend. Football Saturday. Away football game. No students in town.
They were like “nobody will be in town. Maybe a few people will show up”. It’s a shame that they’ll be playing in front of a mostly empty stadium.
So I’m here to encourage anyone not making the trip to UofSC to think about attending the soccer game. It’s at 1, so it won’t interfere with the football broadcast.
Maybe you know some girls (and boys) that play high school/club soccer that would love to attend…take them, they’ll love it.
Maybe you have some family in town and need a fun activity to get them out of the house. You can show off Clemson at 1 on Saturday…
Want a nice day in Clemson without the crowds…Saturday sounds perfect for a nice lunch downtown, some shopping and a Clemson athletic event.
Maybe you can’t be there. That’s ok. You might know someone that would be interested…tell them about it. Maybe they will go.
Anyway, I’ll be here to bother y’all about this all week. Hopefully some people will show up.
Mrs Noodle and I will be there.

Unfortunately I will be out of town as well.
I've loved watching this team, though.
I didn't get to watch yesterday because I don't have ESPN+. Hopefully I'll get to see the next one.
Go support our women. This is a special team.

Since it’s happening on a football Saturday, ESPN+ will probably be the only broadcast option.

I guess we didnt Have any say in it. Would Friday night have been better?
I feel like Sunday evening would have been ideal. Not good planning from the NCAA for the biggest home games for the season.
It does suck for sure. Is this our first ever elite 8 home match for women’s soccer?
I will be there though. Not going to Columbia and will be back in town by then

I don’t think we’ve ever hosted the quarterfinals, but don’t know for sure. Not sure we’ve ever been high enough seed. Getting a 1 seed this year was huge…

Should have been another double header. I know Sunday afternoon may not be ideal either, but at least students may be back in town.

Admission to the Women's Soccer games is F.R.E.E., as in it costs you no dinero. Great opportunity to see the town like OP stated!
If you have a large family, this is a phenomenal opportunity to take them to a game with significance and spend the money you saved on tickets to treat them to some good eats or even some gear from the local shops.
Might be tons of fun to watch the game at the Esso Club afterwards...

Well, it’s game day! Getting ready to head to Clemson and hope to see some of you there.
