Weather service IS calling for a frost tonight in upstate South Carolina. Please protect any tender vegetable plants or flowers you may have. Especially throw a few old sheets over your azaleas.

Be sure and weigh those covers down or the wind may blow them off your plants overnight. I learned this the hard way.

#@%!, I have all my veggies in the ground at home and just potted up 3 at my workplace. I can bring the work ones inside but I've got 3 raised beds at home. Grrrrrrr!

Good luck all you early planters. Fortunately, I haven't planted my garden yet. At this point, I don't think it will impact my blueberry bushes and apple trees since they have been blooming a while and I've seen bees around all of them.

I have several perennial giant Hibiscus plants that normally don’t sprout until May and all of them have sprouted. I may put buckets over them tonight.
