From Duke's website:
Should Duke's be refrigerated after opening?
Yes. To protect the great flavor and wholesome ingredients, it is recommended to refrigerate Duke's Mayonnaise after opening.

I've never been more offended than I am by your post. You absolutely cannot be from the South. Hellmans is middle school cafeteria mayonnaise, Dukes started right here in SC.

I didn't even look to see who posted that. I was so appalled that anyone would rank Hellmans higher than Dukes. Timmy is one of the biggest trolls on here.

processed peanut butter does not need to be refrigerated, but all natural peanut butter does. The oils in all natural can become rancid at room temps.

Think you may be confused, Duke's is the only mayo on the market that doesn't include sugar. It has a nice lemony flavor. All salad dressing like Blue plate include sugar and spices.

Yes it is refrigerated. This question makes me ill thinking of the alternative.

Ive seen LOTS of stuff (mostly online involving non-standard behavior) and I find the thought of mayonaise sitting on a counter for days, weeks, or months the most lewd indeed.
And for that I give you a +1.
Still disgusting though. Worse than Sam's job on GoT last night.
I understand that we are talking Duke's which is a step above all. But still.

I keep my Duke's in the fridge to protect the wholesome ingredients and great flavor.
Of course, I have heard that botulism gives a certain 'tang' to the flavor.
However, I prefer the original, non-botulism flavor in my Dukes, especially on tomato sammiches.

Sometimes I'll just 'accidentally' show up at my mamma's house around lunch time where there is always to be found a nice ripe tomato or 4, white bread, and some Duke's. When I'm right on the money, I can slice those maters with NASA-like precision, spread the Duke's just perfectly on both pieces of bread, put just the right amount of salt on there and, OH Man, am I in my happy place.

I am Southerner by birth and Grace but since I don't believe in giving multi million dollar companies free advertising,I put my ketchup, mustard, and mayo in the fridge.I'm just not telling you what brand names I use. However growing up I had the nickname Skipper, later shorten to Skippy. OOP's I just gave my peanut butter free advertisement. But it doesn't go in the fridge.

Yes fridge. I don't see how mayonnaise is even a debate when the only kind ever made is dukes. Period. And Timmy said Hellmans is better than dukes, hahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahaha. Good one Timmy, good one.

.... my yankee in-laws. There's not enough room in there with all of their Miracle-Whip something-or-other. Siriusly, these are some great folks, and they LOVE our beloved Tigers, but there is some sort of mental disconnect with them when it comes to proper mayo.
