OL issues specifically RG

It looks as if the loss of Walker Parks is having a much larger impact than many expected. It was supposed to be Mayes time but his grades have been dismal. Sewell? Probably a year away. Linthicum is now in his 3rd year and not threatening the rotation. I wonder if there has been any consideration to moving Putnam back to RG and using Williams, Howard, or Linthicum at center. From a talent standpoint, wouldn't mind seeing it Leigh: LT, Tate LG, Putnam C, Miller to RG and Sadler at RT. Miller would definitely add some physicality to the RG position

I think Sewell is getting better. Don't see the need to make the change at center.

Howard looks to be our starting center next year. Maybe Linthicum will be ready for the 2025 season.

I wonder if Dabo will start cross training Sewell to play center.

Miller and Tate have underachieved, IMO. I thought they could have put together 1st Team All-ACC types of seasons and really dominated most games.

Linthicum wasnt a 5 star. He was 3 or 4 based on

service. He was listed by 1 service as the top center as a Junior. Not many centers are ranked and normally guys are just listed as OL OT/OG. Linthicum’s Senior year was canceled due to COVID which left him woefully behind in his development and he has not overcome that as of yet. Hopefully he can give us some quality prod before he’s gone.

He wasnt generally considered that higly rated overall. Most sites didnt have him that highly ranked.
