I made it one big topic on my own lol.
I think if they made maybe week 4 of the reg season a crossover week that maybe replaces a lot of the end of year bowls, you could make it sort of a bowl week and even use the “bowl” as sites for the games. The new power 4 rotates playing each other similar to the basketball challenges. Year 1 ACC vs SEC and Big 12 vs Big 10. Then you could also have the Sunbelt play the Mountain West and then the American Atlantic could play conf USA and the could switch too. End of the year have the playoffs and maybe 6-10 “elite” bowls. Not sure what those are but I assume the top Bowls are still the playoffs so maybe Gator, Hoilday, Music City etc..
Over 3 years Clemson instead of playing Ball State/App St/Troy we play: Auburn, USC, and maybe Baylor or whatever.
Add in Scar and ND/other big game plus our instate FCS opponent. Makes for not a bad schedule each year.

Bowls have been fine this year but if they made it kind of in season instead of so many post season it would make for a lot more fun games during the year. Would also get the 4 conferences playing each other more and would make the 12 playoff selection more real.

Before your time, but to paraphrase what Gray Hound used to say, leave the scheduling to the universities , the conferences and TV.
