Today is the last day before I get to live out a dream, seeing my Tigers play for the National Championship. I was born in "74" and was only 7 years old in "81". I'm from NC and none of my family was Tiger fans. My dad and brother were UNC and my mom is a Wolfpack. But growing up in the 80's I fell in love with the Tigers. That hard hitting nasty D and smash mouth running was what I wanted to watch, plus orange was my favorite color. Well our D is nasty again and our offense is more fun than ever to watch. After Bowden failed to turn us into a power I wondered if we would ever rise to dominance again. But weez back jack and as Dabo says "we aren't going anywhere." My family still loves their teams but during football season they are all Tigers now. My passion won them over years ago. Tomorrow I am going to try and get home around 12 and buy a Chic-fil-a platter of 120 nuggets and watch all the coverage leading up to the game while dipping nuggets in buffalo sauce. I believe we will be back in the Championship sooner than later but tomorrow I want to enjoy every snap. Been a long time coming. Go Tigers!
