I just watched Saturday’s game today since I was out of town all weekend. I cannot believe how much he has progressed since last year. I’ve noticed it every week since the 1st game but good lord he looks like a different person. It’s amazing. In the game Saturday he really looked great in the 2nd half. I’m so impressed with his progress. We have an NFL quarterback on our hands. After last year I would have never thought that was a possibility.

I am not sure about his NFL career - yet. But I have to admit that after last year, I did not think he could fix his problems and make the kind of progress that we are seeing right now. I am glad to have been wrong. It took (and continues to take) a huge amount of work to develop in this manner. Good for DJ !

Funny story about Mike Glennon. While he was in college he teed off in front of me on a short course in Raleigh called RGA. Well the first hole is pretty short and at the time I was still young/dumb enough to try and drive the first hole so we had to wait for the green to clear. They walk over to the #2 tee box which is about on top of the #1hreen. By the time I tee off they've already hit their tee shots on #2 and as he's walking back over to #1 fairway after his slice, I slice the crap out of mine into the #2 fairway about hitting him. As I passed by him I said, "Maybe we should just trade tee shots!" He just laughed.
On a side note, I've appreciated his analysis on DJ this year. Thanks for posting!

Truth about Saturday's game is . . about 25% of the game was regression and %75 was good. We need to see 100% good!! But after late year, I'm not complaining . . .much

He's getting better, but I still don't think he's as good a QB as Tajh Boyd... and Tajh isn't an NFL QB. Sorry to have to say that, but it's the truth.

I agree about the NFL career. But I think he is approaching a Tahj/Kelly level. And Kelly took us to the Natty game.
I think that we will get in the CFP. (It would help if USC would lose a couple). I am afraid that the defense cannot carry us to the final.

My pass, unlike DJ’s would’ve been a marshmallow that the safety could’ve picked off. What an impressive throw on that second play! There’s a lot of starting college QB’s that cannot make that throw. Great job DJ!

He had nowhere to go but up...everyone who is a real clemson tiger fan wants dj to succeed in a great way because if he does then clemson does! We can win the acc with a great defense and a marginal qb but no natty without a good qb! Maybe not even a trip to the prom if ESPN and the talking heads are still running the show...just remember that clemson was not even mentioned after holding gawga to no touchdowns!
