One thing I do find interesting is the same people that say not to freak out

about one loss or that a three loss streak is just a thing that happens, then all of a sudden freak out about one win. Yea it was one of if not the best wins ever but, does it make up for the fact that we are below .500 in the league? Not yet it doesn’t. Now if it gives our players some confidence that they can beat anyone anywhere if they play up to their potential, then it may pay off in dividends. But odd that you flip the logic to your advantage. It was a great win and I’ll continue to give credit if and when credit is due. But I will also continue to give criticism where criticism is due. If Brad doesn’t lose another game this year then I’m all for bumping him up to $5 M a year and he can have tenure and I’ll kiss his ### on live tv. Until then I’ll enjoy this win but still have some skepticism.

Fair enough. As an optimist and ever the Tiger ‘fan’, however, I will slways TRY to be positive, hopeful, and give our teams the benefit of the doubt. If I ‘DO’ have doubts (for recent examples: Bowden’s fb teams losing by several scores to majorly inferior teams - at the time - like Wake, NC Stats, etc.; Tajh in big games OR against the coots; or DJU), I still try to be positive, supportive, and don’t come on Tnet calling for firing or benching them.
This basketball team might be one of the best talent wise we’ve had in YEARS! We’ve lost at least 4 (Memphis, Ga Tech, Duke, UVA imo) we SHOULD HAVE won; and the other three we COULD (‘should’??) HAVE won.
So, I am very high on this team. And I’m buying stock…..

but you are not wrong. Too many late game miscues and turnovers.
The ability to finish is something a team has to learn, was last night that lesson to help our Tigers get over the hump and win 11, 12, 13 league games before season ends ???
I think it could be a catalyst, but with Clemson basketball you never really know.

I keep seeing posts about this team should be good for at least one ACC tourney game win and a sweet sixteen appearance. Do we not desire ACC tourney championships or Final 4 appearances or even Natty wins for the Clemson basketball program? Guess that's what happens when you are stuck in the same ole for 14 seasons.

Clemson basketball expectation/standard is certainly much lower than football as it should be considering the history.
Like it or not, expecting Clemson basketball to win something that Clemson has never won is not exactly an easy thought to process.
I would certainly love to see the Tigers in Final Four and maybe even win it all. Fun thought

These are the seeds that Judge Keller and his ilk have sowed on this board for years. Created an us versus them culture war within the fanbase that has more to do with winning troll wars than any actual concern for the program. Real fans are happy when we win, especially at UNC. I’m happy to see PJ Hall projecting as a first rounder which was a large part of his return. I’m happy to see Schieffelin play with a brand of intensity that has been missing for Clemson basketball for a long time.
When Virginia broke the equivalent football losing streak against Clemson back in 1995 were there internet message boards for their fans to act like swinging big #####? When they made it back to back wins in 1997 did they think they were kings of the world? We all know that would have been some embarrassing #### and look how well it’s worked out for them since. We have got to have higher standards than this. This one loss brings Hubert Davis closer to being fired than 14 years of no results brings Brownell.

I’m super excited for the win however it only solidified the fact that under Brad we are too inconsistent. That inconsistency squandered a tournament team last year and may possibly do it again this year. This win feels like the FSU win in football back in 03. Enjoy the moment but the Brad has not magically become something different from what he has been over the last 14 years.
