Fitt and TCI are the only places reporting that info

I'm guessing they have the same sources, and we all know TCI's sources are crap.

Did TCI report before or after Fitt?
They could be coattail riding trying to get some clicks.

I am pretty sure that during MLB draft time the last thing Fitt needs is clicks.

Fitts also happens to be one of only a handful of people who actually cover college baseball nationally - so it really isn't strange he's the only one reporting it.

extension of his contract without some major concessions from him regarding staff changes. How would Fitts have known that unless Jack or Drad told him. Who else would have known. If Jack thought that was what was happening, he must have been delusional. No firings are wonderful experiences!

are done. Even more so with someone who has been at a place for so long and had a lot of success. Tom Landry/Jerry Jones comes to mind. Bottom line is that many felt/feel a change needed to be made and it was (regardless of how it happened). Now, whether the new coach leads the baseball program back to where it was in the midst of JL's tenure will be what D-Rad is ultimately judged on with this transition. Not how it was handled.
Many bashed TDP on how he handled the Bowden firing and the "national coaching search" that led to him hiring Dabo. That ended up working out just fine and I seldom read/hear any criticisms of TDP or his "coaching search" anymore with respect to that transition.

TDP didn't BS Bowden. He did what had to be done. Obviously, the huge buyout sucked...
I have no issue with Jack being Fired, however, if D-Rad lead Jack to believe one thing on Tuesday and then blindsided him on Thursday I take issue with that.
Little matters more to me than a mans character.

or was shown the door soon after, so yes, there's a significant soft spot. why pay him at all if it wasn't resolute?
i don't see this even remotely in that realm and i imagine most are worried that its mismanagement will have direct impact in the hiring process?
at minimum the 4 step plan, which should have remained private, is where Fitt has direct knowledge and interaction with the situation and he calls drad on it.

Reading Comprehension....
Again.... I have no issue with Jack being let go, however, if this is how the issue was handled, I take issue with that aspect of it.

I'm guessing the truth is somewhere in between. How long this took makes me think they were at least negotiating. Talking about an extension is far from unconditional though and most people seem to agree that Jack was too stubborn to make concessions especially concerning the rest of the coaching staff.

They had the meeting on Tuesday.

DRad told Jack about staff changes,Jack said no, walked out of the meeting thing he wouldn't be fired(he's Legend after all).DRad reported how the meeting went and ran it by the President and The BOT. Then they all signed off on Jack being gone if he was refusing to make staff changes.
I understand Jack crying to the media, that's all he's done for the last two years. instead of show us improvement, he just fussed and whined about anything anyone said questioning his performance.

right thing and step down...You want to exit with dignity? Go out on your own terms....You cling to the job like grim death in the midst of an obvious downward trend, it's not going to end pretty...If he really thought he was getting extended, he wasn't paying attention.

That reporter has his opinion. I guess he has not followed Clemson baseball extensively to understand why Leggett separated. Obviously, not improving does not guarantee keeping a job.

I do not think so. The original poster said if what Aaron Fitts reported is true, he would have issues with Radakovich. Fitts has no credibility knowing the situation with Clemson baseball.

only two people know for sure what was said in a meeting between DRad and Jack, and I doubt DRad gave Fitt this information.
