Let's just face it, we are stuck in the Hind ###, Mop Up Conference, for a long time. The only way that changes is if it somehow becomes advantageous to ESPN to let us out of the GOR.

TV viewership on some of these future scintillating football matchups will be interesting, to say the least. Which is probably what the viewership will be, the least.

Wonder how tv will go. Didnt PAC tie to Fox? Will FOX even know or care that they are gone?

Just wait until the admins from Cal and Stanford start bringing all of their woke ideas to the conference meetings. It's not that most colleges aren't woke enough already, but the leftist coast has it even worse. Maybe we could just combine all men's and women's sports into one classification in the name of equity or some other BS.
The only way this ends well is with CU leaving the ACC before it sinks. Don't forget, these are the teams no other conference wanted from a conference that could hold itself together.

I don’t know why there is so much fear of theses Cali schools. It’s not like a fraternity mixer or something, where your daughter is there and they are waiting for the hunch punch to kick in. Lia is UPenn. Pound for pound, the NE is giving CA a good fight for the most idiotic trans stance.
I’m much more worried about the dynamic when the Lefties fire up a doobie in the hallowed grounds of the tobacco killers. That could be worth watching…
I think the whole mess is just about money - they needed 2 warm bodies to keep their much revered tv contract and that’s it - they got them. I doubt that they will require Dabo to recruit trans players. That will be in the next deal.

Why Cal was added boggles my mind: they bring nothing to the table in sports that matter. Here is the # number of conference titles Cal has won since the millennium: FB 1 (tied with USC in 2004) Men's hoops 1 (2009) Women's hoops 1 (plus 1 FF finish) currently Cal Whoops has finished last or next to last past 4 years. WVB 1 (and a 2nd place NCAA finish early 2000s. Current team is like 4-56 in conference past 3 years. WSoccer 0 (no ncs I know of). Baseball 0 conference titles past 66 years. Pencil in a W here, my new ACC friends. Softball will likely be competitive, has 3 top 15 recruiting classes. Has won couple of conference titles, and a NC in 02.
