A mediocre QB and running back can excel behind that line.
If you don’t have an ‘all-world” QB, you need a strong OL to generate offense.

Yes. And Stetson Bennett was the college all-time greatest QB. Never lost as a starter. Undefeated. Two natl championships.

I guess several of those will not mind riding the bench for awhile.
We hear a lot about the "play immediately" can factor into recruiting... Seems as if some teams have less trouble with this narrative. That is quite a haul of lineman in 1 class, I am sure some will transfer since that seems to be the new way lol

He's better than solid. We'll see how his final numbers shake out, but he's about 300 yards and 5 TDs behind Bennett's best year last year, and that includes two more games than Beck has played. Somehow, Beck is quietly one of the best QBs in the country. Especially when you consider how he spreads the ball around. He's going to be a BIG problem next year.
