Oregon wins by double digits if they could play again today.

Nov 8, 2013, 8:02 AM

Don't get me wrong......Stanfraud played a complete game......but I think they are overrated......just like I think Oregon is also overrated. Oregon handed that game to them. Too many turnovers and POOR tackling.

Of course this is just opinion and has zero relevance to life on Tnet.
Have a great weekend people!!!

Highly doubt it. Stanford has their number***

You know who else is overrated? Bama, Auburn, LSU, SC

Nov 8, 2013, 8:06 AM

Ohio State, Baylor, etc, etc. Basically everyone but Clemson (and FSU b/c they beat us) guys.

In all seriousness, Stanford demolished Oregon at the LoS

Nov 8, 2013, 8:09 AM

on both sides of the ball AGAIN. It was a lot like last season except Stanford's offense can move the ball better this year. I was really surprised to see how many people were just assuming Oregon would run right over them.

Stanford had like 40+ minutes ToP and were running away with the game by the 4th q. That blocked FG for a TD was just window dressing.

Not a chance. Physicality beats finesse...EVERYTIME

Nov 8, 2013, 8:12 AM

just ask Dabo about why he can't beat the coots. They are the more physical team.

running the ball, stopping the run, and stout defense are about attitude and physicality.

Why did we beat UGA or LSU?***

We actually owned the LoS for most of the game against

UGA, and it was pretty much a wash against LSU. Tajh was under siege all night, but Mettenberger wasn't faring a lot better. Our DL really brought it in that game.

UGA does not have a great defense. Look at the points they have given up this year and plus it was the first game. Tajh was a man amongst boys in the LSU game and our defense played well.

What you saw from Stanford last night was Danny Ford football... smash mouth offense and a dominating disruptive defense.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You and Dabo think alike! How about that. 5 of 10?***

They're going to need to play again today

Nov 8, 2013, 9:05 AM

I'm sure Vegas would take your money on that game if you'd like to give Stanford 10+ points.

I thought Oregon's D was better and they would make real noise this year

Unfortunately Stanford has their number and understand how to beat their version of the spread

I liken it to the coots knowing how to be tough and beat Clemson's version of the spread

The question mark is Baylor?? Is Baylor the new Oregon or will Okla St take them out of it?

FSU is a combination of all of them with a real Defense They run pass spread smash they may be the one to knock off Bama
