For the general football fan though here goes!
These are my predictions for games outside of Clemson's this week!

NC State @ Syracuse
*Cuse played a good Purdue team at home and nearly lost. NCSU is far better than Purdue and actually has speed on defense whereas Purdue clearly was hurt by Syracuse's foot speed.
*NCSU has a lot of experience and players who have played a lot of ball. The Cuse QB is nice; but the NCSU defense is nicer!
NC State 28 Cuse 21.

Penn State @ Michigan
*Hard to say. I give Penn State a bit of credit for going into SEC country and making Auburn look like a SEC East team. I have not been that impressed with Michigan; despite what the stats indicate. Nobody they have played could put similar athletes on the field. Penn State can.
Still Michigan is at home:
Michigan wins 21-17.

Alabama @ Tennessee
*Tennessee and Hendon Hooker win. I know B.Young is back! I know about the streak. I know Alabama has better personnel.
I just know Nikita Satan has had trouble with QBs like Hendon Hooker before. Hooker is a gamer and has the ability to keep calm even when Saban throws weird looks at him. They have enough playmakers on the outside to give the Bama DB's issues.
The Bama offense is "schizophrenic" which one shows up Saturday; depends on the score. I think TN has a sound defense.
The crowd will make it tough on Bama; especially if they get down early! Which is the way I see Bama winning. Get an early lead and take that 100 thousand out of it and make them doubt early.
Hard to pick against N. Satan - but TN wins 31-28.

Oklahoma State @ TCU
*The Cowboys beat the horned frogs in Fort Worth! 38-31.

Minnesota @ Illinois
The Golden Gophers Row their way to a win vs. the Illini. Gophers 28 Illini 17

Southern Cal @ Utah
*Wittingham beats Lincoln in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains! Trojans meat a more physical defense than Oregon State and can't take the "heat" in the cold of Utah.
