This is not COOT speech…. I am a life long Tiger fan and a former student at Clemson.

UT had the same problems facing them a few years back when Fulmer was let go. I have a family member who married into the UT family who actually was close to the former AD, M. Hamilton ( who a Clemson grad and good man).

I’m not certain of the $ UT alum and fans had to get rid of Fulmer. I vividly remember hearing my family member explaining this to me after a phone call and said that Fulmer was gone. Basically, more $ to get rid instead of keeping him.

Here’s my point, I’m not even going to begin to know how much $ Clemson alum gives to IPTAY etc…. All I’m saying is that if things don’t change, there will be Folks with big $ asking Neff to make moves.

Is Dabo the issue!? Who knows. There are serious problems right now and some serious decisions that need to be made. The landscape of the game has changed and surpassed the “Clemson Way”.

IMHO, the transfer portal, and larger $ has, in one
season, caused Clemson to regress at a rapid rate.
I’m not at all sure that Clemson can keep up $ wise with these bigger institutions.
