It could be the angle, but I would have expected there to be an even bigger size difference that it appears.

of perspective! The person in front often looks as big or bigger than the person behind, when it is actually quite the opposite!

We were coming back from some high school event and driving through Aiken (?) on some country road. Drove by a mansion with a very large man outside tending his lawn. Someone said it was The Fridge, so we circled back. I was voted to get out of the van and try to get his autograph. He was nice enough given the invasion of privacy. He was the biggest man I had ever seen. The pen I handed him looked like a golf pencil in his hand. Hands don’t lie.
