we used to have it.........over the last few years it's been lost.

call it taking the foot off the gas.......putting in the backups a bit too early as to not "embarrass" the opponent. The conservative nature of the offense and lack of aggressive mentality of the players is astounding.

Are you suggesting that our current playbook is simple to accommodate DJU?

Or maybe you are suggesting that the playbook is simple to allow Cade K. to not be overwhelmed when he gets his chance to get in the game.

we also don't have a Ross, Higgins, Williams, Scott, Renfrow, Leggett......even further back Sammy/Nuk.

our talent has been depleted across the board.......not just QB

and again, that goes back to coaching and the refusal to adapt to the changing CFB landscape by Dabo..........being cutting edge and NEW/Fresh is what Dabo used to preach in all aspects of his program from the gameplan to the Operations facility..........he's gotten complacent and needs some new blood to give him the edge back.........not a bunch of yes men and former players as his assistants.

Sorry here, but I didn't understand part of your post.

Did you suggest that we are not putting our back-ups in too early because the presence of backups in the game would have embarrassed out opponents?

Does anyone really think that airing it out with conditions of 40 MPH winds to a WR Corp that (with the exception of Antonio Williams) seldom gets separation and seldom catches contested balls is a smart way to win?

Talk about mistakes! If we'd done that, then we'd have lost 49 - 0.

If we had done that mistake ... as proof that we 'were not afraid to make mistakes' ... the would that have pleased you?
