People say we need offensive linemen, defensive ends, wide receivers, etc. How about a kicker? I think we have a freshman coming in. Are we going to just assume he can do the job? Or that Gunn will get it straightened out? I think we should bring someone in.

Hauser #1 ranked kicker in his class. Set several NC and Nat'l records. He sure ought to be an upgrade or at least push Gunn.

Gunn was #1 in a few services as well

Id prefer a proven college kicker out of the portal

Hopefully Gunn turns it around, but he does have a kickoff leg if nothing else.

The Clemson Tigers have one of, if not the best high school kicker in the country headed to campus for next season. 2024 kicker Nolan Hauser’s been chasing a historic number this season, and he did it in Hough High School’s 52-7 win over North Mecklenburg High School.

Hauser’s only field goal of the night, he made from 48 yards to break the national record for field goals made in a high school career. It was career make No. 57. That’s with at least six games left to play.
