Posting 1st Set of 3 New Pics of JOE21..

Dec 9, 2021, 6:10 PM

These pics were hurriedly shot with cell phone from glass-covered family photos displayed on tables at Joe Cocke’s church services on 11/26/21, so not best reproductions, but timeless & special of our beloved HOF poster on TigerNet who had graciously entertained & shared with us over 8.5 years his personal history, thoughts & military exploits over two wars on every subject known to mankind.

Joe would have been 100 on Thanksgiving Day but his MAKER decided 22 days earlier that he was needed in Glory-land.

As many know, Joe loved Clemson Univ & Clemson Tiger Football and was known as “The PAW Man” since he’d given out over 15,000 PAW items and/or stickers across maybe 7 Continents..and also was affectionally called “Mr JOE” by others.

On his 1st or 2nd day in Clemson in mid 50’s he & football HeadCoach Frank Howard crossed paths at the front door of the Post Office where they chatted and it was “ON” Clemson-wise from then on. Can’t you hear Coach calling Joe by his favorite name for everybody, “Buddy”! Later Frank made sure that Joe got 2 prized seats on the 40 and kept them to this day.

Please enjoy this 1st installment of 3 random pics of JOE21 and next three to be posted soon will be neat military ones.

Go TiGERS!
