nothing to the history of college football benefit solely by riding coattails of conference affiliation and others who have a storied history will be left out. Absolutely ridiculous!

Vanderbilt has several national titles, although over 100 years ago.

South Carolina has NEVER EVEN PLAYED IN A MAJOR BOWL GAME! Let that sink in.
