I haven’t posted in awhile, but decided to share after hearing Coach Swinney’s comments last night regarding the QB switch. We all saw what the young man could do when given an extended chance - not a quick hook. When asked about any regrets not playing him sooner, pride and stubbornness reared it’s ugly head again. He is a man of faith and deep conviction and I’m certain he’s quite familiar with these verses: Proverbs 11:2 “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” Proverbs 16:5 “The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.” Proverbs 16:18 “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”
