I use one for my phone and one for my MacBook. I hate switching Bluetooth so I picked up a 2nd pair.

They could have an external speaker that overwhelmed your ear with white noise. But that might annoy those around you.

There's a slight buzz noise, but you can't really make out what is being said or what song is being played. It's pretty muffled, much more than you would think.
Funniest thing is that people walk up to me and start a conversation, they have no idea I have them on. They blend in with my dark hair and they can't see them on me.
I originally bought a pair for the office. It became a pain to keep lugging them back home all the time to use there, so I bought a second one to use at home.
Shokz are truly life-changing headphones. I have ALWAYS hated sticking earpieces or buds in my ears, and don't like the big sweaty headphone either. These are perfection.

and one is Open Run Pro (supposedly improved/better model). It has some app with this model that is pretty useless IMO.
I really can't tell much difference in sound quality, volume, anything. Save the $25 extra and buy the regular model.

I turn mine on at 8am when I get to work. Turn them off at 5pm when I leave. I have never run the battery out doing nine straight hours.
But you do need to charge after that, they won't last into a second day. Charge time from low to 100 is an hour or less. They do take a unique magnetic charge cord. Buy a spare for $5 or so on ebay/amazon.

I've only used them to when mowing the lawn so far but can hardly hear the mower. Being hearing protection they don't get real loud so not the best for general use.

my homies at Bose have let me down. The soundsport buds are no more, and those were the #####.
I think mine fell out of my backpack in the lounge or in a conference room. Still salty about it.
