Saw my 11 year old granddaughter in a piano recital yesterday and received some cheer on a cloudy day but it also brought some sobering thoughts. She would not even exist had I not survived Vietnam and there are many other families missing precious children because their sons and brothers did not survive wars. Hang onto every moment we have on Earth and certainly not let lesser disappointments linger to the point we feel a need to complain constantly about them. And "Go Tigers! Win most of them!"
