No doubt he was a great player, but i kinda see him as hole plugger. I was going off of pure aggressive talent.

I have to put Rob Bodine at the top of the list because of his effort! He was undersized at 265 demanded a double team because when teams thought they could block him one on one he would wreak havoc in the backfield. If Rob would have been a four year guy instead of a transfer I'm not so sure we would even debate the best DT!
Their certainly are some studs on this list that have had an impact in the NFL, but for college Bodine is my man!
You cannot leave Jim Stuckey and Steve Durham either off the list on add them to it, they each were very good for us and of course Stuckey certainly played well in the NFL!

Thought Michael Dean and William were nose guards....
Guess inside the DE's makes for a DT...

One was a noseguard, William and Michael played DT only. As far as that Rob Bodine was a NG himself. I lumped all DT's and NG's together.

Pure athlete?

As far as pure athlete at DT, it would have to be McGlockton, his senior year in HS he played on the Basketball team and when they played teams that pressed he went to point guard, the guy could dribble a round ball!

Benish and Bryant, how can we forget? They were studs also!
Been going to TIGER games since 1968 on a regular basis and the old memory is not what it was, but these names bring back great memories!
