I got this from ESPN and it explains that statistics lie when it comes to QB performance. Take the completion percentage stat. If you watched Oregon State at all this year you would know their receivers suck and drop catchable balls alot. The true fact is DJ's accurate has been excellent. It is not his fault if the player is not good enough to catch the ball.

dropped at Clemson. EJ Williams dropped a huge first down against DirtPeckU, and then some would say DJ doesn't throw an especially catchable ball or others might suggest DJ doesn't do well in throwing to green or players open. Those things can create uncertainty at other skill spots, which is never a good thing. It cascades.
DJ is what he is, I'm glad he's found peace, but he had media and TNETers alike making apologies in 2022, before he fell prey to what went on between his ears in game 8 against Cuse. He went from ball security minded, to 8 turnovers in 5 games? before finally being benched.

In terms of passing efficiency, I think DJ is ranked #21. By comparison Cade I think Is #53. If you could perhaps consider if we swapped players I think you would find that DJ performs like Klubnic when at Clemson and Klubnik performs like DJ when at Oregon State.
I agree QBR is not passing efficiency. It is not even a statistic it is a rating. ESPN's argument is that statistics cannot possibly tell the story of the quarterback's contributions toward total team performance.

You might compare DJU first 7 in 2021 to Cade's first 7 now, that might make some sense.

Connor Weigmam at TAM so high is a little surprising. Having better year than I thought.
TAM allegedly preferred Weigmam over Klubnik. Klubniks family are TAM supporters and wanted an offer but Jimbo preferred Klubnik.
When I heard that story a couple of years ago from TAM fan, I thought it was sour grapes. Maybe Dumbo knew something.
