Quackers Flashback: 2018

Following our 56-35 win versus SCAR, on our way to the first 15-0 season in CFB since the 19th Century, many of our fans were distraught over the closer score and griped about our team's status and will. Dabo appropriately called them out for somehow treating a win as a loss as SCAR trailed by only 7 at the half and routinely stayed within 14 points from there, sharing how much the quackers had lost their perspective and needed to get a grip.
I hope today's quackers can appreciate the many of us who are going to continue to give Dabo the benefit of the doubt when it comes to, well, pretty much anything and everything having to do with the football program; how our roster is built, how the program is run, how the kids are coached, and who those coaches are. Period.
We would all like to be sitting at 6-0 today instead of 4-2, and Coach has shared the disappointment that he and the team feel alongside for not being so, along with the knowledge that we have the talent here, now, to have achieved that, but didn't. The panic and discord in 2018, the similar but more sustained panic in 2010, the panic now - there's always going to be a subset of fans who simply know better than the pros running our outfit ("It's so obvious") and who are going to gripe regardless of wins and losses. If you're one of those and get called out for it, don't take it too personally. Dabo is genuinely trying to help you get more joy out of life as a Clemson fan. Do with it what you will.
Go Tigers.

Totally agree!
Some of our fans are either not old enough to have lived through the lean years of Tommy West and Tommy Bowden, or they have chosen to forget. The sheer frustration of watching Bowden team fall apart against lesser teams drove me crazy.
Whether we win another championship in the years to come or not, these are the glory days of Clemson football. Dabo built the program literally from the ground up and took our Tigers to the mountain top....TWICE! Almost did it on 2 other occasions.
There are football teams that have never come close to a championship. Imagine how their fans feel every season.
I am a firm believer that no one wants to win more than Dabo. I agree he is making it tougher on himself than it probably needs to be because he won't use the transfer portal to fill roster gaps. However, he has the ability to win more championships with his methods. I am excited for the days ahead when that happens. I cannot wait for the press conference when Dabo can stand in front of all the stupid media people that criticized him as he shows off the new trophy.
It is going to happen people, count on it!

This was back when Dabo actually told it "like it is"

Not the new Dabo at 7-5,5-5, 4-2 telling the fan base we're upset because we're not undefeated.

What's this 7-5, 5-5 stuff?
You fudged stats yesterday also with your 72nd PPG and 62nd YPG Offense rankings for 2023 when those are clearly false numbers according to easily available statistics.
Kinda undermines a griping angle when you resort to sharing BS numbers like that.

Crazy game, didn't their QB go for 500+ yards BUT

they still lost by 3 TD's..
I mean, in the history of college football has a team been beaten by 3 TD's while their QB was able to throw for 500 yards????
The game never really felt close although they did keep it withing a couple of scores until the 4th quarter. It was like, well if they score all we have to do is score again lol.
