Question for the Repubs - vote for a past Dem POTUS over Trump?

If you could vote for any other Democrat president in modern history this election, which, if any, would you vote for, rather than Trump?
I'd definitely vote for JFK over Trump. In a heartbeat.
In retrospect, even Clinton wasn't that bad, but I'd have a harder time with that one. Probably wouldn't.
Definitely not Johnson, Carter or Obama.
But JFK - yes. I think he was the last of the reasonable Democrats. He was a pretty good president and a very good leader, and that's a huge part of the job.

I’m no longer a Republican because of the stupidity and immorality he’s brought the party to accept. And I’ve given enough money to the GOP in my lifetime to have an opinion.

I tried that once voting for Carter after the Nixon debacle. That's all I have to say about that.

Maybe Grover Cleveland instead of Trump.
Grover Cleveland was a Democrat, but more in the vein of Calvin Coolidge than of a real Democrat.
Cleveland was wrong (as were most Democrats and some Republicans of his day) with respect to ignoring the post-Civil War prejudices against blacks that restrained what should have always been a merit based economy here in the USA. (For a merit based economy to maximize its potential, every citizen … regardless of race or gender … should be encouraged to compete for jobs and in business ventures).
Same as Trump, Cleveland fought corruption within America’s bureaucracy. Same as Trump, Cleveland was cursed with an economic crises that was not of his own doing.
Unlike Trump (and atypical for a Democrat), Cleveland was not in favor of using tariffs as a foreign policy / trade polic6 hammer. Accordingly (and again, unlike Trump), Cleveland was unpopular with organized labor.
For his time, Cleveland had some ‘zipper problems’ in his past, same as Trump is notorious for a malfunctioning zipper throughout his long pre-politics life. Even considering the enormous differences in the ‘allowable’ degree of social indiscretions, the pre-presidential Trump was much worse than the pre-presidential Grover Cleveland.

Not a “fair” question … DJT is a MAGA, not a Republican.
I would choose any previous Democrat before I would vote again for DJT. I would choose any previous Republican over DJT … yes, even Nixon and Harding.

the modern Democratic Party offers me no real choice.
I'd probably vote for JFK as long as he held the same views/policies today as he did in 1961. But therein lies the problem I have with Democrats and this leftist mind virus that has infected that party. JFK - and even the 1995 version of Bill Clinton - would be considered right wing extremists by the leftist radicals controlling the agenda of the modern Democratic Party. I'm quite sure that if JFK were alive today he'd be all onboard with much of the modern Democratic Party's leftist agenda which he would have found abhorrent in 1961.
