Radio, television and podcast host are spewing out opinions about the law suits

But I talked with a lawyer this week and he said that it was very complicated and could go either way. As far as the landing spots for any schools leaving the ACC, those people are just guessing. They offer no facts or credible sources so basically click bait.
Time will tell the truth.

Because that is their job, have an opinion on everything.

The problem is the entry requirements to become a radio or TV host have gotten lower and lower. Podcasters have no barriers to entry. Have an opinion and a laptop? You're in!

Agree, a waste of time listening to all these podcast people. Maybe .5% of them have actual sources and I don’t want to waste my time trying to figure out who they are. I know Hood does so if he has nothing it’s very unlikely any of the pod people do.

I think you are spot on. This will take a long time and much $$$ to resolve. But commentators get paid for saying something, even if it's not grounded in fact. Remember, it's show bidness.

.... is like me giving an opinion on how to set up a defense against NCSU in March Madness. Read it for entertainment purposes only.

I'm listening to a guy named Doug Rohan for educational purposes. He's an FSU grad. He's a slip and fall lawyer who practices out of Atlanta. He's a huge FSU booster (personally and financially). He openly admits all of that. But, when he is giving his analysis he does a good job trying to explain the complexity of the case. He basically spends his time trying to keep Nole fans from being giddy and thinking the judge is gonna laugh the ACC out of court. He is expecting the judge in Charlotte today to listen to the brief oral arguments, ask a few questions and then tell the parties he'll have an anwer in about a week. He says the most likely ruling is the case will not be stayed or dismissed but will continue on.

His long term outlook is that, like most civil cases, it will be resolved outside of court and will never go to trial. He's hopeful, but not as optimistic as I am, that the resolution will happen by this summer and FSU and Clemson will be out of the ACC in 2025.

He's going to be in the courtroom in Charlotte today. If able, he will be tweeting updates during the hearing. If you are interested you can follow him on X at RohanLaw.

But, don't expect any bombshells or smoking guns. He says this will most likely be a relatively boring, uneventful morning in the courtroom.
