I know Rashan Gary the new #1 recruit in the 2016 class came down for a visit and remember his mom saying something about wanting a safe campus/family environment which would clearly put Clemson at an advantage, but has anyone heard anything else? Is the Clemson staff recruiting him hard? Would love to see us pick up another elite DT

The interesting thing about that is that the one Clemson prediction is from JC Shurburtt. Shurrburtt is generally an SEC homer and rarely gives Clemson a shot at landing most bigtime recruits.

Thanks for the feedback, I saw that too. I also noticed that a lot of the Bama predictions were from a year ago and the Clemson prediction was very recent so I was wondering if anything has changed.

In addition to his moms concerns about a safe campus he is also from NJ and I feel like northern students and athletes would better acclimate to Clemson then to alabama because we have a more eclectic mix of students from all over the country.

Additionally he made a few comments on the NFL being a priority and Bama's ability to pump out top NFL players was a big plus. If that is the case look no further then Vic, Sammy, Nuk and all the other Clemson talent that is being showcased in the NFL on the national stage and has to be another great positive about Clemson.

Landing this guy would be huge. With Albert Huggins and Christian Wilkins on the line already, adding Rashan would be an elite D line that could win a national championship.
