Southern Baptist

but I think most Southern Baptists are pretty ecumenical within evangelicalism. I've started to a read a lot of Catholic social doctrine and theology, but I wouldn't convert.

Raised Baptist. Would not go back into a Baptist church if I could at all avoid it now (or probably any other - no offense Baptists).

Go back and forth as to whether I think God is real, right now leaning towards yes - but not sure about whether it's the God of the bible or not.

Falsehood flies, and truth comes limping after it, so that when men come to be undeceived, it is too late; the jest is over, and the tale hath had its effect: like a man, who hath thought of a good repartee when the discourse is changed, or the company parted; or like a physician, who hath found out an infallible medicine, after the patient is dead.
