Used to have a quarterhorse named Doc after Kilmer's character - had a white patch on his face and one blue eye.

That's a lot more difficult than favorite actor...

I'm guessing you mean which actor simply nailed it for one character?

To name just one is a challenge. Gant is definitely among tge top. If I watch Jaws is because of that character.

Forest Gump : the character was completely likeable and Hanks was that guy. It could not have been pulled off any better by anyone.

Gunny Hartman, Full Metal Jacket: Ermy got type cast but he reflected the fullness of a good DI,DS better than anyone Ive ever seen.

Patton: George C Scott so fulfilled that role (I'd been watching the movie since it first aired on television when i was pretty young) that I was disappointed when i later discovered the actual figures appearance.

Rocky : the first movie in particular, Stallone introduced us to a character i don't think anyone else could. Plenty of folks could play a boxer, but I don't think anyone else could be Rocky.

Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark
Jimmy Stewart's George Bailey (also Donna Reed as Mary)

Some people aren't fans but I think Adam Driver played well a good character in Kylo Ren. I don't think the three movies lived up to the originals, but the character Kylo Ren was interesting.
