Jim Harbaugh leaving

Never saw anything in the national media bashing him for leaving Michigan after winning the natty and going back to the NFL. What about what’s to come with with Michigan down the road when all the investigations are done. Could be some big penalties for Michigan that Jim was part of but now he gets off scott free. Doubt he ever returns to the college ranks. What do fans and players have to say about him? Are they glad he is gone or feel disrespected that he left right after winning it all.

And is this was coming, he’s flirted with the NFL the last few years and made it known he wanted to go back. He fixed a drowning program and brought them a natty, they have no issues with him.

This is correct. Even if the media were to go after Harbaugh and Michigan were to be penalized by the NCAA in the future, it wouldn't change the way the Michigan faithful feel about him.

By "fixed" I take you mean by cheating like the devil he won a national championship. And then he scurried out of town (and from his alma mater) before his cheating could catch up to him.

According to Harbaugh, that was his plan all along. He wanted to win a natty at his alma mater and return to the NFL. Who can blame him anyway? Michigan would have parted ways the moment he couldn’t beat O31-0 state. The NCAA and B1G were kinda rough on Harbaugh for doing things other teams have done for years. According to other coaches Venables is one of the worst sign stealers of all-time. Who wouldn’t want to add a Lobardi trophy next to their NCAA football national championship trophy. I’m a Falcons fan and was praying Harbaugh would land in Atlanta. I’d have also taken Belichick. Not happy with the hire, that’s another conversation anyway.

There was nothing said because winning the NCAA is just JV compared to winning the Super Bowl. Harbaugh was an NFL coach and it never left his system.

RG stated the NFL will not be a hiding place if you leave an institution under investigation. All just smoke out his sorry a$$. Also Michigan knew he was up to no good and had no problem with it. Time to suffer the consequences!

They believe him to be preordained for sainthood, above reproach, cannot fathom he would be involved in the unique elaborate cheating scandal (he was clearly the architect), they call him 'Jimmy' as if he was their son, the level of denial displayed by the UM fanbase requires them to be collectively insane or ignorant af—
